Our History
Our roots go back to 1956 when Gordon Flesch began offering “modern” technology to businesses (Yes … typewriters!). Over time, two companies evolved from his efforts. Today, Elevity’s focus is on helping organizations manage their IT infrastructure, while Gordon Flesch Company focuses on managed print and other technologies. Together, we bring a holistic approach to business and maintain that personalized, family-focused attention.

Matt Freymiller
Matt Freymiller has been with Elevity since its inception in 2020 and has been with Gordon Flesch Company since 1998. He started his career in the print and office equipment space, and now has over 20 years of IT experience. As a vCIO, he enjoys learning about the organizations and helping them achieve their goals through technology alignment. Outside of the office, you can find Matt playing video games with his kids, completing projects around the house, and volunteering in his community.
Adam Overberg
Adam Overberg joined our team as a vCIO in 2022. He previously gained 14 years of IT experience serving in various roles within the legal industry. In his current role as a vCIO, Adam enjoys being challenged to create tailored IT approaches that best fit the needs of an organization, as well as collaborating with a team of internal technology experts on the best solutions. In his free time, you can find Adam playing video games and mountain biking.
Mickey Chavannes
Mickey Chavannes joined our team as a vCIO in 2022. Prior to Elevity, he gained 10 years of IT experience serving as an IT Director in the education system. In his current role as a vCIO, Mickey enjoys collaborating with organizations to keep their IT environment up to date. Outside of work, you can find him discovering new ways to enjoy the outdoors such as hunting and playing or refereeing soccer.
Nathan Distel
Nathan Distel has been with Elevity since its inception in 2020 and has been apart of Gordon Flesch Company since 2015. He has over 20 years of IT experience serving as an engineer and vCIO for a large variety of industries such as construction, legal, medical, property management, and more. As a vCIO, Nathan enjoys collaborating with clients to improve their business through technology. Nathan is an avid sports fan, and in his free time you can find him playing golf and basketball or cheering on his kids from the stands.
Mike Comte
Mike Comte joined our team as a vCIO in 2025. With nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry, including over 15 years in IT leadership roles, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to our organization. He has had the privilege of working across a diverse range of sectors, including healthcare, education, legal services, finance, emergency services, real estate, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and nonprofit organizations. Mike has successfully managed environments with as many as 2,000 users globally, as well as smaller settings with fewer than 100 users. In his role as a vCIO, Mike leverages his extensive background to provide a well-rounded, strategic perspective to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Elevity’s clients. His diverse experience allows him to offer valuable insights and solutions tailored to each client's specific industry needs. Outside of work, Mike enjoys tending to his goats and mini pony, and handling various day-to-day tasks. He often spends time in his shop, working on vehicles or carpentry projects. Additionally, Mike values downtime, whether it's camping under the stars in a hammock or simply enjoying the moment with his wife.
